Doing up the nursery was such an enjoyable project for me, I had a vision from the start and over the months kept adding bits as baby rooms are expensive! I tried to make the most out of the space available and tried to add as much storage as possible to allow for her to grow in the room. The chair eventually when I stop nursing will be moved to the living room to allow her to have more space.
A top tip I was given was to ensure that she had toy storage space as well, although she won't be playing with much early on, you will recieve toys as gifts and eventually she will need the storage so it made sense to have it from day one.
I originally did want to paint the room and give it more of a theme, however with budget I wanted to be more sensible and save that for when shes old enough and can choose her own theme. For now I left it neutral to open up the room as well as make use of the paint we had already used. I also didnt want the room to have too much pink and just have the accessories.
Until next time,
All our love,
Baby C and Me X
